While the majority of these Pokémon are unique to this location, there are certain legendary species that may be caught after completing all three levels of Vast Poni Canyon.
After navigating this massive canyon, players will arrive to Clemont, who will challenge them to a combat for their last badge before continuing on their trip.
Vast Poni Trial
The Vast Poni Trial is Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s fifth and last trial. This trial is held at Vast Poni Canyon. In this trial, players must first awaken Kommo-bravery o’s by defeating a Totem Kommo-o. The phantom figure in the cave will then instruct them to go to Vast Poni Canyon and meet with the Kahuna.
After chatting with the Kahuna Hapu, players will be led further into the canyon to battle Clemont, the Gym Leader of Lumiose City’s gym. As they move down the canyon, they will need to utilize their Pokémon to answer Clemont’s questions in order to unlock new regions.
Finally, after successfully making their way to Clemont and defeating him in combat, players may go from Vast Poni Island to Ula’ula Island to continue their quest.
Totem Kommo-o
Totem Kommo-o is the next destination for players in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon’s Gym #6 Laverre Gym. Leader Valerie will bring you to a cave in the gym’s northwestern corner, where you will face a Totem Kommo-o. This Pokémon possesses a Level 46 defensive stat that may be tough to beat.
To destroy Totem Kommo-o, players need use very effective attacks against it, such as Dark or Fighting techniques. It also helps to perform two rapid striking techniques every turn since Totem Kommo-o may switch between elemental shields. After defeating the Totem Pokémon, players earn an enhanced Z-Crystal called Clangorous Soulblaze, which when utilized in battle transforms Clangor into Clangorous Soulblaze.
Megalo Tower
