Step 1: Open the Cortana/Search box by pressing Windows Key + S and searching for Powershell. From the search results, choose Windows Powershell.

Step 3: If the SFC scan uncovers any issues, use the command below to fix them.

If you restart your computer, the 0xc0000001 error should go away. If that doesn’t work, you may use this instructions to perform a DISM scan to repair any additional problems. 


Clean up your hard drive.

Windows includes Disk Cleanup as a standard function. It may assist you in resolving a variety of problems that might otherwise negatively affect your system’s performance, such as fixing any programs that are using too much CPU.

SAM files should be moved.

The problem may potentially be caused by corrupt SAM (Security Access Manager) files. Transferring these files to the repair folder may assist in resolving the issue. 

Step 1: Press the Windows key and type Safe Mode into the search box. Select the appropriate search result.

Make a system repair.

If nothing else works, reinstalling or fixing your operating system is the best method to fix the problem.
